When they are abused

a beauitful tribute to amazing creatures...
They have been in service to man for eons, and no one even realizes just how long human beings have been taking advantage of their kind hearts and gentle spirits...

I love the way you've started and ended each stanza with matching sentences -- a way to "drive home" the message of each verse.
My favorite part was when you said you and horses are born together and die together - a very metaphysically moving realization.
I admire the relationship you have with horses, and the love you demonstrate for them through your words.
