We are One; We are the Wind

The thundering pound of this magnificently glorious creature's heart as she flies is the healing music to my soul that takes the pain away, and fills everything and everyone with love.

I grip her silky soft mane in my fist as I ride, weightlessly astride as to allow this beautiful being her freedom as she flies and flies. But then I am no longer riding her, but i become her: I see as she sees, fly as she flies, our hearts becoming one rhythmic beat set out to love and heal, not hate.

We are one; We are the wind

This amazing creature is more beautiful than anything you've ever seen. Big, crystal-clear blue eyes, silky white coat covering her body, a long mane and tail, white with strands of cream colors flowing with the white, teasing the wind.

She takes me away, past serene forests and through feilds, flying fast over the morning-dew covered ground, while the sun awoke the sky and earth with brilliant colors of soft pastel reds, pinks, and oranges.

She takes me to her world, where all is beautiful and serene, where no time exists, all is calm, and all are free. She is the Queen, and she has chosen me to grant upon this wonderful gift, of which she doesn't allow to just anyone.
Even if physically apart at times, our souls stay together, never parting- even in death. We love all, hate none, forgive, forget. Weightless as the wind we fly together, we fly as one.

We are one; We are the Wind.
One Soul, One Heart, One Mind.

Eurynome -

This.... THIS!! *deep sigh* -- this is an amazing tale. Not only was I moved by the skilled written descriptions, but the story being told is one that wrapped me in warmth and peace.

I loved this part: "... teasing the wind."

I'm glad she chose you to bestow her gifts upon. I could think of no one more deserving.

A beautiful message of peace.

Euro,

an amazingly beuatiful and moving tale of horse and rider...

Your deep love for these animals comes through in your writing...

If we allow them to, horses can bring us such peace and freedom, in fact, here's a quote I think you'll like:

"When we ride a horse, we borrow freedom for a little while."
Unknown author

Apparently there are a lot of people out there who feel as you and I do...

Wonderful post...very visual

Peace, love and white light,

Nick

Nick- yes, I do like that quote. I believe that is true. You can never catch or tame a horse's spirit--only it's body. The spirit is wild and untamed no matter how long the horse has been in domestication.

Sparky-- Thank you. Yes, I love to escape to the world of imagination for a while--forget the hate and pain and destruction this world can cause and just escape--no time, no rush....just me and whatever my mind will bring...of course, I do guard it, though.

Neighs and kisses,
